Hey, I’m Komal. I write content that speaks from the heart and makes WordPress work for you. Let’s make your ideas come alive!
Blaze Ad Network

Automattic, the company behind the popular content management system WordPress, has recently launched Blaze, an ad network for Jetpack and WordPress.com sites. The ad network aims to provide an alternative to Google AdSense and other popular ad networks by offering targeted and relevant ads to Jetpack and WordPress.com users.

Blaze will be built on the same technology used by WordPress.com’s VIP program, which is known for its high performance and reliability. The ad network will use machine learning to match ads to specific audiences based on factors such as content, location, and browsing history.

Automattic stated that Blaze would be a self-service platform, allowing users to sign up and display ads on their website in minutes. The company also said that the platform would provide detailed analytics and reporting so that users could track the performance of their ads in real time.

Blaze will also include a “Blaze Pro” feature, providing access to additional features such as advanced targeting, priority support, and increased user revenue share.

This is not Automattic’s first foray into the advertising market; the company previously launched WordAds, an ad program for users of the free version of WordPress.com. However, WordAds was not as successful as Automattic had hoped, and the company decided to discontinue the program in 2018.

This new ad network is likely to be welcomed by users of Jetpack and WordPress.com, as it provides them with an additional revenue stream and an alternative to Google AdSense. However, it remains to be seen how successful Blaze will be and how it will compare to other ad networks in the market.
