Mario’s tech journey began in the late 1990s, when he started experimenting with Java, PHP, and Python. By 2006, he discovered WordPress and quickly saw its potential beyond simple blogging. What began as small freelance projects evolved into large-scale development work, setting the stage for the launch of DevriX in 2010.

When Mario founded DevriX, his mission was clear: to help enterprises and publishers harness WordPress at scale. Outside DevriX, Mario is an angel investor with more than 20 portfolio companies and a partner in a private equity holding. His investment approach goes beyond funding he actively advises founders on branding, go-to-market, and digital transformation.
Through his consulting practice, Mario also serves as a fractional advisor to C-level executives, helping them navigate operations, revenue strategy, and growth.
