As part of the WordPress community, Seahawk is always looking for ways to connect with fellow WordPress enthusiasts and partners. WordCamp is one massive platform for connecting, building, and growing this community further. 🚀
WordCamp US (WCUS), North America’s biggest WordPress event, was held at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland from September 17 to 20. Over 1,500 attendees from around the world attended. Our co-founders, Ryan and Gautam, had an amazing experience attending WCUS Portland 2024 and building meaningful relationships with like-minded individuals.
For four days, WordPress pros and enthusiasts gathered to learn about the latest innovations, collaborate on open-source projects, and, most importantly, strengthen the community. It was all about learning, sharing, and making connections with like-minded folks from around the world.
After creating waves at WCEU 2024, our co-founders were all set to create waves at WCUS 2024 Oregon, Portland. It’s always a fantastic experience connecting with friends, fellow WordPress professionals, and our partners, who gathered for an event full of inspiring conversations and collaborative opportunities.
We had the chance to meet and brainstorm with our valued partners: Marketgoo, DreamHost (the Dream Team), InMotion, Barn2, Astra, Brainstorm Force, SureCart, WP Engine, Pressable, Automattic, and Atarim. From exchanging groundbreaking ideas to showcasing strategies, the focus was on transforming how agencies engage with WordPress.
We also connected with some incredible companies in our growth fund by Awesome Motive, like MemberPress, AIOSEO, and OptinMonster, exploring ways to revolutionize their offerings. On top of that, we had the privilege of meeting with our investors, Awesome Motive and WPBeginner, along with VIP agency partners like rtCamp, Human Made, Syde, and wearefixel.
Additionally, we met with DeerDesigner to discuss innovative WordPress design strategies, making it a truly enriching experience.
Our co-founders also took the time to explore some beautiful parts of the city between sessions. They visited the stunning Japanese Gardens and stumbled upon some charming, cozy cafes scattered throughout Portland. The city truly has a unique charm!
We’re excited to keep the momentum going and build on the amazing connections made during the event because – “What we create together is bigger than any one person.” – Matt Mullenweg
