Seahawk Team Delhi Meetup 2025

The digital age has made remote collaboration easier than ever, but despite all the technological advancements, nothing beats the power of face-to-face connection. Recently, Co-founders Gautam Khorana and Ryan James visited New Delhi, where they met up with the incredible team for a week full of collaboration, team-building, and unforgettable new experiences.

The adventure kicked off in the vibrant city center of Connaught Place, where the team gathered for a memorable meetup at The Park Hotel. Located on the top floor lounge, the venue offered a stunning view of the bustling city, creating the perfect atmosphere for discussions.

The topics ranged from marketing strategies to customer success, from sales to operational efficiency, and each conversation was designed to sharpen the team’s focus as they discussed the way forward for Seahawk Global.

The energy of Connaught Place, filled with its rich cultural and historical significance, reminded everyone of the importance of being in the heart of a thriving city, where ideas could flow freely and organically.

One of the more unexpected but delightful moments of the trip came during a stroll on the way to The Big Chill, a popular spot known for its decadent cakes and relaxed vibe. The team stumbled upon a WPServices.com balloon, a fun surprise, especially since WPServices had just become the newest addition under Seahawk Global.

Throughout the week, the group shifted between iconic locations that represented the eclectic spirit of New Delhi. They spent time at Workingdom, an inspiring co-working space, as well as United Coffee House, a Delhi institution known for its old-world charm and exceptional food.

At each of these locations, the team savored the flavors of Delhi, discussing everything from partnerships to customer feedback, as well as exploring new ideas and strategies to move the business forward. These team meals weren’t just about filling up; they were crafted as a bonding opportunity, allowing everyone to connect outside of the traditional meeting room.

To break the ice and bring out a lighter side during team meals, the group played a fun game of “Pass the Feather.” The game, simple yet effective, helped team members learn more about each other in an informal, non-competitive way. It was a great way to break down barriers and foster authentic, relaxed conversations that revealed new sides to each individual. Whether it was sharing quirky facts about themselves or discussing their passions beyond work, the game sparked laughter and encouraged deeper understanding among the team.

As the week unfolded, the conversations became more meaningful, the team delved into key topics that impacted the future of the company. The discussions ranged from marketing and sales strategies to operations, customer success, finance, HR, and legal frameworks. Having some team members fly in from different regions made these conversations even more special, bringing in diverse perspectives and insights. What made this experience particularly valuable wasn’t just the business talk; it was the chance to meet face-to-face and truly connect as a team, reinforcing the human side of business.

In the following week, the momentum from the first week continued with a more relaxed gathering in Gurgaon. The team met at WeWork One Horizon, a modern, innovative space, for two days of informal yet productive connection. This second meetup was more laid back, offering a chance to reflect on the previous week and deepen relationships that hadn’t had the chance to fully develop during the first round. The primary goal of this meetup was to connect those in leadership roles who had not yet met face-to-face, ensuring that they could build rapport and strengthen their communication moving forward.

No trip to Delhi would be complete without indulging in the city’s iconic sweets. During this second week, the team took a break from the usual business discussions and enjoyed Nirula’s famous ice cream together. This Delhi staple is beloved for its nostalgic appeal and is a perfect symbol of how the simplest pleasures can bring a team closer. Sharing ice cream and lighthearted moments gave everyone the opportunity to bond on a personal level, away from the pressures of work.

What stood out most to Co-founders Ryan James and Gautam Khorana was how these meetups centered around fun, food, and free-flowing ideas helped everyone connect on a deeper, more human level. While the topics discussed were crucial for the company’s future, it was the informal moments and the shared experiences that made the biggest impact.

These interactions allowed the team to see one another not just as colleagues, but as individuals with unique perspectives, passions, and stories to tell.

As the week came to a close, Gautam and Ryan reflected on the immense value of having these face-to-face interactions. It reinforced their belief that by investing in relationships, breaking down barriers, and embracing the diversity of their team, they were able to set the stage for the next chapter of Seahawk Global growth.
