WordPress Gives a Hand is a community-led initiative running from December 22 to December 28, 2025. Now in its sixth year, the initiative brings together WordPress companies from around the world with one simple idea: focus on giving instead of discounts.
Instead of running promotional sales, participating companies donate a portion of their revenue to charities that support children, families, animals, the environment, and communities in need.
Why Seahawk Is Participating
At Seahawk, we strongly believe in the power of community. The WordPress ecosystem has played a major role in our journey, and initiatives like WordPress Gives a Hand allow us to give something meaningful back.
Rather than offering short-term discounts, we see this as an opportunity to create real-world impact. Supporting causes that help children, families, and animals aligns closely with our values, and the timing of this initiative felt like the perfect moment to take action together as a community.

Supporting Dog Help Kharkiv UA
As part of WordPress Gives a Hand 2025, Seahawk has chosen to support Dog Help Kharkiv UA.
Dog Help Kharkiv UA is an organization dedicated to rescuing and caring for dogs affected by the ongoing crisis in Ukraine. Their work includes providing food, shelter, medical care, and long-term support to animals that have been abandoned or injured due to conflict.
Animal welfare is a cause close to our hearts, and through this initiative, we’re proud to contribute to an organization that is making a real difference in challenging circumstances.
How WordPress Gives a Hand Works
The initiative keeps things simple and impact-driven:
- The campaign runs from December 22–28, 2025
- Participating companies do not offer discounts during this period
- Instead, a fixed amount or portion of revenue is donated to a chosen charity
- Each company manages its own donation internally
- The collective impact is shared publicly after the campaign concludes
This approach ensures the focus remains on generosity, not promotions.
How You Can Support the Initiative
WordPress Gives a Hand is for everyone, not just companies. You can support the initiative by:
- Working with or purchasing from participating WordPress businesses during the campaign week
- Sharing posts and updates using #WPGivesAHand
- Engaging with and amplifying content from other participants
