After leaving a significant impact at WordCamp Europe, Seahawk co-founders Gautam Khorana and Ryan James carried their momentum into WordCamp US 2023. The event took place in National Harbor, Maryland, from August 24th to 26th. We arrived with a clear mission: to continue empowering agencies and businesses, and we seized this opportunity to unveil new initiatives aimed at redefining the relationship between WordPress and agencies on a global scale.
Here at Seahawk, we’ve long been committed to going beyond just providing services; we aim to add real value. Whether through custom WordPress development or strategic digital marketing, we focus on enhancing relationships with our clients and agency p54artners. Our recent engagement at WordCamp US aligns perfectly with this, and we’re excited about the additional opportunities for collaboration and growth that this will bring.
WordCamp US is an essential hub for the WordPress community, including developers, designers, business owners, and marketers. For Seahawk, the event was an exceptional platform for connecting with industry leaders, exchanging groundbreaking ideas, and showcasing strategies to transform how agencies interact with WordPress.
Just like at WordCamp Europe, we mingled with industry giants, reigniting old friendships and sparking new alliances. Imagine sizzling conversations with Todd, the powerhouse CEO of inmotionhosting.com, and thrilling discussions with Harry, Carrie, and Jesse from the boldgrid.com/inmotionhosting.com squad. We also caught up with our dreamhost.com pals, including the legendary Brett Dunst, Andrea, Angelica, and Alex Brown, true industry stalwarts.
But that’s not all; we couldn’t resist the siren call of the Pride party, masterfully orchestrated by Mike Demo from codeable.io. We clinked glasses and savored dinner with Wences and his son Wenli from marketgoo.com. Meetings with Tom Fanelli, the CEO of convesio.com, added fuel to our shared commitment to deliver world-class solutions.
Visit to WordCamp US is incomplete until you dive deep into a brainstorming session. And that’s what we did with the peachpay.app team on the exciting and promised future developments of WooCommerce.
Beyond the networking extravaganza, we took on D.C., exploring museums with fellow pros. And oh, the meetings! We huddled with the hostinger.com, siteground.com, and liquidweb.com team and even had the honor of hosting the instawp.com booth thanks to our friend Vikas, the InstaWP CEO.
We also crossed paths with wildcloud.so, a captivating new WordPress startup, and had the privilege of meeting the WordPress legend himself, Syed Balkhi, CEO of awesomemotive.com — truly a trip highlight! Our bonds grew stronger with friends at wpbuffs.com, blogvault.net, and meeting with the brilliant Akshat Choudhary from wpremote.com. We dove into productive discussions with Saad Khan from cloudways.com and had enlightening talks with the pressable.com crew, featuring Jessica, Amanda, and CEO Vik.
Our active participation at WordCamp US 2023 reinforced our presence in the WordPress community and laid the foundation for future collaborations that promise to elevate the digital landscape.
